The nose of this wine exhibits potent aromas of ripe red and black fruits such as plums, figs, and blackberries. Soft notes of black pepper and charcuterie intermingle with aromas of tobacco and butterscotch from the French oak. The robust palate is very well balanced with nicely rounded tannins. Its excellent structure and volume lead to a remarkable and pleasing finish that is very consistent with the nose.
